January 2008 - Construction begins Feb. 6 to replace the bridge above that carries Swedesford Road over Route 202 at the Route 29 Interchange. Overpasses at Route 29/Morehall Road, Cedar Hollow Road and Church Road also will go to construction at that time.   larger view
January 2008 - Traffic is now using the reconstructed Mill Lane bridge over Route 202 in East Whiteland Township. PennDOT replaced this bridge, and is replacing two others, under the first stage of the overall project to widen and rebuild Route 202 in this area.   larger view

October 2007 - Steel piles are being driven to provide support for abutment foundations at the Swedesford Road bridge over Route 202 north of Route 30. As seen in this picture, the driven piles are cut off at a uniform height once they reach their limit of resistance. The shaft of the pile-driver is visible on the left.   larger view
October 2007 - Construction to improve the intersection of Swedesford Road and Phoenixville Pike/Planebrook Road is underway in East Whiteland. Construction also is continuing at the nearby intersection of Phoenixville Pike and Route 401/Conestoga Road.   larger view
